Robin studied Physics at the University of Konstanz (Germany). He made his Diploma thesis on „Rastertunnelmikroskopie und –spektroskopie an molekularen Nanostrukturen“ under Prof. Kern in the Max-Planck-Institute for Solid State Research (Stuttgart, Germany). He continued working in the group of Prof. Kern to obtain his PhD degree on „Local probing and manipulation of molecules and nanoscale contacts with scanning tunneling microscopy“. From October 2010 on he worked there as a PostDoc. In June 2011 he joined the STM subgroup headed by Francesca Moresco to work as a PostDoc. He plans to work on the low-temperature STM/AFM investigating mechanical and electronic properties of functional molecular nanostructures on surfaces. He comes from Vietnam. He is a lecturer at Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST). His major is Chemical Engineering. The research direction that he is interested in is protect environment. So after, he graduated from Hanoi University of Science and Technology, he works as lecturer at the Department of Chemical Engineering in HUST. From 2007 to 2009, he studied on Master course at HUST with the topic “study on treatment of Reactive Blue 161 C.I by advance oxidation process using Fenton reaction”. In June 2011, he joined the group of Prof. Gianaurelio Cuniberti as Assistant. From June to August, he does experiments in the HAL building with the topic “research in apply TiO2 to treatment in textile by photo catalytic”. In July to September, he will be doing experiments in the GmbU lab with the research in Sol/Gel process and research in chemical character of surfaces. Katrin studied hotel management and worked several years in different locations including London, Sonoma (USA), Heidelberg and Hamburg. Since 2007 she has been working at Asisi Visual Culture GmbH, Dresden, as assistance of the director and event manager and is now looking for new challenges.
